In the following RosettaHealth podcast interview, Phil Beckett, Interim CEO at HASA, the community HIE for the North, South and West Texas regions, discusses his organization’s current health data exchange efforts, and why he will be participating in the RosettaHealth Community booth (#2193) at HIMSS 2019.
The mission for Healthcare Access San Antonio (HASA) is to support the Triple Aim of healthcare, a framework for optimizing health system performance by improving the experience of care; improving the health of populations; and reducing the per capita costs of healthcare.
A core part to meeting this mission is advancing health data exchange, and providing additional value for smaller physician practices in the area. In fact, HASA is planning on further leveraging the RosettaHealth platform to potentially get onboard hundreds (if not thousands) of physicians in 2019.
In addition, Phil is participating in the RosettaHealth community booth at HIMSS 2019, and hopes to see it grow over the years, much like the larger annual HIMSS Interoperability Showcase.
“The RosettaHealth HIMSS Community booth provides a wide-range of tools, perspectives, and services, making us all part of this larger healthcare eco-system,” said Phil. “We have to work together in symbiotic ways that drive improvements, and I would love to see this concept grow more at HIMSS.”
