According to a recent Black Book study, more than one-quarter of U.S. hospitals do not have an effective healthcare revenue cycle management solution in place.
The report also found that 82 percent of hospitals expect to make value-based reimbursement decisions in 2019 without the use of an advanced software solutions. This study highlights the tremendous market need for the right revenue cycle management offerings.
Thankfully, Valetude is filling this void with its revenue cycle management optimization solutions, which provide a self-service data analytics platform that consolidates patient data to drive multiple revenue cycle projects in parallel.
For example, the Valetude solution houses all patient data in a centralized location, allowing streamlined data mining and modeling. The company also offers a Revenue Cycle Initiatives (RCI) Engine that drives results in charge capture, coding, and payment variance. This improves charging practices, while also boosting net revenue, and appealing improperly paid claims in bulk.
Clearly, these solutions are catching on in the marketplace – but there’s more room for adoption. Since 2007, Valetude has implemented 50 systems for a dozen regional networks covering over 150 hospital providers and managing data for upwards of 65 million accounts.
As highlighted in the new Black Book survey, U.S. hospitals are in need of the right revenue cycle management solutions, and Valetude helps to fill this void.
