This week, the largest gathering of infection prevention professionals in the world is taking place at APIC 2019 in Philadelphia. The RosettaHealth team will be in attendance and highlighting how its platform enhances data sharing for the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN).
In addition, members of the RosettaHealth team are attending the inaugural DirectTrust Summit in Atlanta, Georgia this week.
According to the CDC, the NHSN provides facilities, states, regions, and the nation with data needed to identify problem areas, measure progress of prevention efforts, and ultimately eliminate healthcare-associated infections.
NHSN also allows healthcare facilities to track blood safety errors and important healthcare process measures such as healthcare personnel influenza vaccine status and infection control adherence rates.
Specifically, the RosettaHealth HISPDirect solution improves public and population data reporting for NHSN. A few key customers leveraging the RosettaHealth Platform for public reporting include:
- BD Global Health
- Department of Defense/U.S. Navy
- Fresenius Medical Care
- Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
- Wolters Kluwer
The DirectTrust Summit will bring health care industry leaders together to share ideas and best practices around improving health information exchange and interoperability.
DirectTrust recently reported record growth in the number of DirectTrust network users, addresses and transactions during the first quarter of 2019. Be sure to check out our recent podcast interview with Scott Stuewe, President and CEO of DirectTrust, who discussed this momentum.
