As many HIEs uncover new ways to ensure that patient information seamlessly flows among providers’ electronic health record systems, many are turning to solutions like the RosettaHealth platform to further enhance their overall health data exchange.
Next month, SHIEC will be hosting its annual conference at the Gaylord National Resort & Conference Center in National Harbor, MD, and the topic of health data exchange will, once again, be at the forefront.
The RosettaHealth team will be attending the conference, and has a long history of helping HIEs to best advance their missions through improved connectivity and efficiency in health data exchange.
For example, the company recently announced that it has partnered with HealtHIE Nevada, the statewide health information exchange (HIE) in Nevada. Under the partnership, HealtHIE Nevada is RosettaHealth’s HealthBus solution as a “universal translator” of health data transport protocols.
With this solution, HealtHIE Nevada can more easily register new patients and provide health records to all providers, during and after any episode of care. For health care facilities, this technology allows them to easily share patient data and access the medical records contained in the HIE directly from within their own EHRs. The ability to retrieve patient data from HealtHIE Nevada is key in reducing physician burnout and streamlining use of the full patient-centric medical record contained in the HIE.
RosettaHealth also helps Healthcare Access San Antonio (HASA), the non-profit, community HIE for North, South and West Texas, to enhance the exchange of patient health records to better allow healthcare providers in HASA’s network to have automated access to clinical patient information in real-time through their electronic health record. Be sure to listen to our latest podcast with Phil Beckett, CEO of HASA, here.
Last year, RosettaHealth officially introduced its new MedAttentive solution at the SHIEC 2018 Annual Conference. With this solution, HIEs can expand member service offerings by delivering customized alerts and notices that follow patients through all points of care, while allowing providers to be alerted with only relevant patient data – when and where they need it, in real-time.
As we get closer to SHIEC 2019, we will be announcing a new MedAttentive pilot program with a prominent HIE, and hosting a podcast panel of HIE leaders. In the meantime, please contact us below if you would like to schedule a time to meet at SHIEC 2019.
